The summer has brought us so many opportunities to share our passion with students. In June, we got to go to a summer program at Trinity First Lutheran School. We had students range from 1st - 8th grade who got to see Serenity (ball python), Luna (crested gecko), Blueberry (blue tongue skink) and Fudge (Kenyan sand boa)💚

Their curiosity and excitement made this event so much fun!🤩

This weekend Sphen (leopard gecko), Blueberry (blue tongue skink), Fudge (Kenyan sand boa), Luna (crested gecko), and Everest (bull snake) got to travel 50 minutes all the way to Wyoming, MN and meet a room full of parents and their kids they homeschool. You might remember this snake from a video we made back when schools were distant learning, BUT he has yet to be formally introduced to everyone! This is Arrow and he is an almost two year old corn snake who loves to explore and be held! What makes arrow special is his specific morph is called “Anery” which means he lacks the red pigment that is in a normal corn snake (the third photo is what a normal corn snake looks like)! We can’t wait to take Arrow into a classroom to teach them about his scales special colors! • •

Even though life gets busy, it’s important to make time for your passion. This past week we have been busy cleaning cages and getting the animals ready for winter. Today we headed out to the Minnesota Reptile Show and found this adorable duo. They are called Dune Geckos, the one on the left is a male and the one on the right is a female! We can’t wait to learn their personalities and find the perfect names for them🥰
