Premiering today: in person podcast with my dear brother Elias Ali. Shaykh Elias has been a long-time friend of mine and someone I have depended on over the years for knowledge, advice, mentorship, and companionship. A truly great brother who is well-known in Minnesota having been an Imam at five different masaajid here and a Khateeb at even more. Elias is known for his tireless efforts in Minnesota of giving durus, advising youth & families, and delivering quality khutbahs on Fridays that see the masjid overflow.

In this podcast our brother shares his life story and that of his family growing up Muslim across America and in Minnesota in the 80s and 90s to eventually becoming the second person ever from our state to graduate from the Islamic University of Minnesota.

Him and I also dig into the Muslim community in Minnesota and the youth specifically; the good, the bad, and the ugly.
