Bosco Tech Alumni The Tech will welcome its first co-ed class in Fall 2026!

The only Catholic applied science high school of its kind in the U.S., Bosco Tech uniquely combines a rigorous college-preparatory program with STEM-based studies. Bosco Tech is a non-profit, all-male Catholic high school that combines a rigorous college-preparatory program with a technology-focused education. The innovative curriculum allows students to exceed university admissions requirements while completing extensive integrated coursework in one of several applied science and engineering fields.

The Tech family is saddened to share the news of the passing of one of our own. Br. Patrick A. Barbariol passed away on Sept. 23, 2026. Br. Pat was born in Menlo Park on Sept. 1, 1942. He made his perpetual profession in 1962, served as an assistant at Salesian High School in Richmond, CA, from 1956 to 1960 and taught at both Bishop Mora Salesian High School (1960-1985) and Bosco Tech (1985-2010).

Br. Pat’s funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph's Salesian Youth Retreat Center at 8301 E Arroyo Dr., Rosemead, CA 91770.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

Wow! When your talented band makes international news—congratulations to the Royal Techmen Marching Band! Not only did our talented young musicians perform during USC’s halftime show with the Spirit of Troy last Saturday, but their selection to perform was featured in international news by the Agenzia Info Salesiana, the worldwide Salesian news agency based in Rome.
