BEHIND THE HEADLINES: MEDIA BIAS & FILTER BUBBLES
Saturday, August 8, 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Are we all seeing the same online stories and headlines in our news feeds? Are we reading or hearing the same information about major events? Uncover how media outlets reflect different political and cultural perspectives—and how algorithms reinforce those views. This session introduces tools to evaluate media bias and helps you reflect on your own “information bubble” and how to step outside it.
