Students and families in the Soehl Middle School 21st Century Community Learning Center recently had a Family Engagement Event at Jersey Lanes!

In mid-May, students in the Soehl Middle School 21st Century Community Learning Center received a visit from the Linden Police Department! Students had the opportunity to talk to local police officers about what they do! A great time was had by all!

In early May, students in the Soehl Middle School 21st Century Community Learning Center received a visit from the Linden Fire Department. Local firefighters talked about their day-to-day life and allowed students to spray the hose under the direction of a firefighter!

Fun at School No. 10 Before Care!

Last week, students from the Soehl Middle School 21st Century Community Learning Center attended a field trip to Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center. They participated in interactive activities connecting baseball with STEM!

Last week, staff from our Before Care/After Care and 21st Century Programs participated in the
Njsacc: New Jersey's Afterschool & OST Professional Network Annual Conference on Afterschool and Out-of-School Time (OST). Congratulations to Lisa White from School No. 2 for serving on the Njsacc: New Jersey's Afterschool & OST Professional Network STEM Team! She is one of 12 members throughout the state. Throughout the school year, Ms. White has received intense professional development related to incorporating STEM activities in after school programs. She has completed the activities with School No. 2 After Care and turnkeyed the information for use throughout the district. Great job!
