Hey everyone in case you missed it our WE School Board just voted for this. No more late busses - hurts all kids that have sports or activities after school.

NORTH CALDWELL – The West Essex Regional School District will eliminate the late buses starting in the fall, the Board of Education was told at its meeting Monday, May 2.

So how about the 77% increase of kids going to back to West Essex in person after the break - to me it’s a breath of fresh air - what are your thoughts?

Hey all just a reminder - the West Essex School Board Meeting is Monday night. As far as we know it’s going to be a zoom meeting with the community still being allowed to ask questions during the Q&A session of the meetings.

There has been a back and forth ongoing discussion on if folks should be allow to ask questions during these meeting.

This board has voted to allow only written questions after the fact but it seems the long term decision on how to handle that point on the public’s comments is still an open question.

It would be great to have as many Roseland parents listening to this meeting as possible to make voices heard that the meetings should be open to be the public forum they are meant to be.

I for one believe it’s in our best interest keep these meetings open for live Q&A.

Just wondering, with Noecker open and West Essex closed for two weeks and COVID cases rising, are people planning on their sending kids? going virtual? and lastly what do the kids (especially the older ones) want to do?

Thanks to everyone who has supported me in this campaign - from the counts I won’t have the opportunity to represent the families of this town.

I’ll be putting out a more detailed statement in the next few days on my thoughts, it’s been enlightening to say the least.

Most of all I’m humbled by the support everyone has given me, especially my family here at home.

Congrats to Frank Perrotti you have our kids in your trust please take care of them.

Thanks again everyone - the experience has been enlightening.

I must say from last nights School Board meeting that there was some really forward thinking dialogue on the call. I’m happy to see that some of the campaign rhetoric is causing some action.

Great for our kids!

In 2020 being a parent is different than it’s ever been. You are as always a role model, a coach, a friend, family and a leader but in 2020 you are a teacher, a technical systems administrator, a babysitter, a chef, a bus driver, a super scheduler, a person with endless patience (sometimes), a medical expert, a current events filter and an advocate.

We are getting through this together but at the heart of matter it's really hard to be informed if you aren’t living it.

This is why I am asking for your vote in this school board election - we need my voice and voices like mine directly in the mix.
Thank you again for you support - this is about our kids - not about politics or power.
