Magic Moments offers early learning programs in Towson, Owings Mills, and Rosedale, Maryland. We offer quality childcare and early learning programs for infants through school age children. We are licensed by the State of Maryland to provide care for children 6 weeks through elementary school age.

🏈 Taking Learning Outside the Classroom!

What do our children already know about football? Quite a lot!

Before heading outside, they shared their knowledge about football players, teams, running with the ball, throwing, catching, scoring, and how the game is played. Then they had an opportunity to put some of that knowledge into action.

As children took turns holding and running with the football, they practiced coordination, balance, gross-motor development, communication, turn-taking, and social interaction.

Activities like this allow children to recall what they already know and connect it to new experiences—all while staying active and having fun.

Football Week is underway at Magic Moments Early Learning Center, and even our youngest learners are joining the fun!

STEM Learning in Action at Magic Moments!

Our School-Age students recently became engineers for the day during our Foil Boat STEM Challenge!

Students designed boats using aluminum foil, made predictions, added different amounts of weight, and tested which designs would float or sink.

While they were having fun, they were also strengthening critical-thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and early engineering skills.

At Magic Moments Early Learning Center, learning doesn't stop when the school day ends. We create experiences that encourage children to explore, question, create, and discover.
