Day 3 of shows at the Douglas County Fair is complete! Our Swine Showmen did a fantastic job during the Showmanship Show! ๐ท
Olivia Miller & Dakota Banducci also delivered their respective FFA Presentations! ๐ค Olivia spoke on Sourdough production ๐ and Dakota taught judges how to do floral arrangements! ๐ Great job ladies!
All our members also helped with preparing the Auction ring/area for the Douglas County Fair Rotary Youth Livestock Auction. ๐งน The Auction takes place today at 4:00PM! We hope to see you there!

Day #2 of shows at the Douglas County Fair was a busy one! โจ๏ธ Congratulations to Inga Morales who had several wins with her Poulty today! She finished as the Champion Advanced Poultry Showman and Reserve Grand Champion Poulty Showman! ๐ Great job, Inga!
Our beef exhibitors had Showmanship today! ๐ฎ Congratulations to Dakota Banducci who won Reserve Champion Beginning Beef Showman! Taylor Johnson received a callback into the Advanced Showman Champion Drive, and Tatum Scott did a great job showing her steer, Fred! Great job ladies!
Great job to our Swine Showmen today: Lilly Moore, Olivia Miller, Mackenzie Davis, and Inga Morales! ๐ท Both Lilly & Olivia were in the FFA Champion Market Hog Drive! Great job all! Mackenzie also took 2nd Place in the Feeder Hog show! Tomorrow is showmanship! Wish them luck!

Great work to Taylor Johnson, Tatum Scott, and Dakota Banducci, who exhibited their market steers in the FFA Confirmation show! There was a lot of tough competition and the girls did a great job preparing their steers for market. Tomorrow is showmanship! Wish them luck! ๐ฎ

This next week is the Douglas County Fair! ๐ฎ๐ท๐๐ฐ The Roseburg FFA Chapter has several members who will be exhibiting their market animals! All these ladies have worked extremely hard with their animals! The Roseburg FFA will have animal exhibits in the Cattle, Swine, and Small Animals Barns; stop by and say hi!

This week our Chapter Officer Team participated in their summer Chapter Officer Leadership Training! โจ๏ธ Our Team worked on developing skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication. This week's training included icebreakers, workshops, and team building activities. Our Team also got to sneak away for a little while to visit the Wildlife Safari! Our Officer Team worked hard on preparing Roseburg FFA's Program of Activities (POA) for the upcoming school year!

Please consider supporting these amazing Douglas County youth! ๐ Add-ons accepted until Wednesday, June 10th!
There is still time to donate to our youth as an add on. Please go to www.roseburgrotaryfoundation.org and submit your payment for a specific child or to Rotary Booster Club and we will contribute to the kiddos that didnโt get as much per pound as others. We will close the add on option at the end of Wednesday this week - June 10th.

Who knew that a State Foresty Team could double as a Shop Skills Team!? โจ๏ธ Great job to both our Advanced & Beginning Shop Skills Team!
Our Advanced placed 4th with team members Levi Kempton, Marek Dewbre, Liam Bracken, Brenden Matz, and Juniper Crocker! Our Beginning Team did a great job and only had two team members: Quinn Coopride and Lukas Coppersmith!
Many of our students placed 1st in their respective contest areas! ๐Our students competed in areas of various welding, woodworking, tool ID, mechanical drawing, tool sharpening, and tap & die practicums!
