Classical. Christian. Community.
These are the three pillars we stand for.
What is Classical Conversations?
Founded in 1997, CC is a widespread network of local homeschooling communities that have now become global! We offer community and curriculum for Kindergarten through College Credit. Our communities meet once a week to study all subjects areas and our flexible curriculum can uniquely assist each student on their home education journey.
Classical:
We are attempting to recover an understanding of classical education and to apply that model in our communities and in our homes. We are turning our heads toward the ancient wisdom of the trivium (literally translated from the Latin as “three roads” or “three ways”). These three ways are Grammar, Dialectic, and Rhetoric. The beauty of educating through these classical ways is simplicity.
Christian:
Our contemporary society says that there is no truth; in other words, there is no knowing anything with certainty. As Christians, we believe the opposite: we believe that we can know God. We believe that He has revealed himself to us in three ways: His world, His Son, and His Word.
Community:
Homeschooling is better with a community! We believe that parents hold ultimate responsibility for the education of their children. Everyone faces challenges while learning to homeschool and we believe that it is better to partner with others to get you through. At Classical Conversations, we connect you with a local community where you can belong, be encouraged, and find homeschool resources and support.
