🍎 Summer EBT is back in 2026! 🍎
Find out how the program can help feed kids this summer. ☀️
Summer EBT (SEBT) is a grocery benefits program that helps families buy food for school-aged children when school is out. Each summer, families will get one payment of $120 on an Oregon EBT card for each eligible child to buy groceries.
Families may automatically receive Summer EBT in 2026 if their child experienced one of the following anytime during the 2025-26 school year:
• SNAP food benefits
• TANF cash assistance
• Medicaid and household income under 185% of the federal poverty level
• Foster care
Families may need to apply if:
✔️ Your household meets the income requirements for free or reduced-price meals at school
AND
✔️ Your child attends a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP)
Key Dates:
• June 1, 2026 — Call Center opens
• June 4, 2026 — Benefits begin issuing for automatically eligible families
• June 5, 2026 — Online application opens
• Sept. 1, 2026 — Application deadline
