DC Produce Project started today! This is our 5th year of providing fresh, local, and seasonal produce to local libraries and students. We are so excited to be partnering with SIX libraries this year!
Thank you to Integral Farm and the DC Produce Project for the amazing produce - it's available while supplies last in the library lobby.

With the rapid increase in technological advancement, it’s hard to ignore AI or go a day without it entering our lives. But, it’s coming with a cost. In Oregon, there are currently 137 data centers operating. Data centers are taking over land zoned exclusively for farming, and Oregon is no exception. We urge you to consider where your food comes from and the already high burden farms are facing with rising fuel and fertilizer costs when choosing to use AI.
Data Center Boom Leaves Rural America Shouldering the Costs
Rural communities are being forced to give up farmland, strain local water and energy systems, and subsidize infrastructure built to serve tech corporations.
