There was a baby robin overseeing the work in the Victory Garden today! 🐦⬛113 pounds of produce was harvested and donated to UCAN. Our YTD total is now 727 pounds, which is distributed around Douglas County. 🫛🥕🥬

Yesterday, our compost tea team, Jo Murch, Jeff Willis, and Dawn Shumack, attended a class on the science of compost tea “Under the Microscope” at the Grassroots Garden in Eugene. The class was given by Michael Alms from Growing Solutions and Rodney Bloom from Food for Lane County/Grassroots Gardens. The CSA program at the grassroots Gardens, includes a gallon of compost tea!
