SCHOOL HISTORY BEING MADE!

We participated in the First Annual Hult High School Musical Theatre Awards where we were nominated for Outstanding Overall Musical, Outstanding Ensemble, Outstanding Stage Crew, and took home a shared trophy for Outstanding Orchestra!

YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN truly became “the little show that could” this year. None of us expected this recognition, which makes it an even more meaningful celebration of the hard work, dedication, and heart that every single person brought to the production. What an amazing way to end the year with all of the other incredible schools that were nominated!

We want to send a great, big THANK YOU to for putting this event together! We can't wait to play again next year.

Join the recent multi-award nominated RHS Drama Department for our End of Year Theater Showcase Tuesday, May 26th at 7pm!

Students from the Advanced Acting class and RHS Thespian Troupe will be showcasing their talents by performing monologues, scenes, and songs for you all. We'll be announcing our Thespian Troupe officers for next year, saying goodbye to our seniors, and announcing the Fall Play for next year.

Best part? It's FREE! Come celebrate the hard work these students have made all year long.

RHS' spring musical, "YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN", has received 4 nominations for the first annual Hult High School Musical Theatre Awards AND has been invited to perform a song at the event!

The Hult High School Musical Theatre Awards will honor exceptional achievement in high school musical theater: recognizing the talent, commitment, and creativity of students and educators across the state of Oregon. High school productions were evaluated throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. The awards ceremony will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Hult Center in Eugene.

Congrats to all the programs considered for the awards and to all those nominated!

Huge THANK YOU to the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, City of Eugene and the Bridge to Broadway program for allowing us to bring 50 students to see Beetlejuice: The Musical last night! For some, this was the very first professional musical they’ve ever seen live and it was a blast! We’re all still talking about. Thank you thank you thank you!
