Community service day number one in the books with many more to come! A large part of FCCLA is helping others in our community and surrounding areas. If you missed today’s blood drive, we will have three more during the school year.

Thank you to everyone who donated and the FCCLA officers who helped make the day run smoothly. We surpassed our goal and we are thankful for our large number of students and community members who came today.

Mrs. Julie Reedy received an award from the Arkansas Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (AATFCS) in recognition of her work in developing and launching the Pre-Educator Program at Rose Bud High School.

The Pre-Educator Program provides students with a three-level sequence of courses designed to introduce them to the field of education and prepare them for future careers in teaching. Through a partnership with Arkansas State University–Beebe, students have the opportunity to earn concurrent college credit while completing the program.
