Required Documentation to Bring:
Please gather and bring the following official documents to your

scheduled appointment
Proof of Age: Original birth certificate
Proof of Residency: Recent utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage statement
Immunization Records: Up-to-date vaccine history.

Next Steps & Timeline:
Submit Online Form: Complete the sign up via the link above by August 10th
Complete Online Registration: Register your student online at dcsd.powerschool.com
Attend Screening: Bring your child to KPES on your selected date for a brief academic readiness check.
Receive Placement: Classroom and teacher assignments will be posted to PowerSchool by August 17th.

Online Registration is NOW OPEN for DCSD! New students and transfer requests require an Open Enrollment Form. All forms and details can be found on our district website at dcsd.org.

Please note that while you will be able to view your child's tentative class placement, it is not guaranteed until your students registration is fully completed.

There has been some confusion about the summer lunch program. Here are the corrected flyers.

Summer Sun Meals for kids 18 and younger.
Everyone is welcome!
• Meals are free for children 18 and younger.
•Only one meal per child each day is allowed.
•Meals must be eaten on site!
•Meals will only be available during serving time.
•Adult Meals may be bought for $ 5.00.
All sites will be closed on Fridays
Summer Lunch Free to all kids ages 1-18.
Available Monday through Thursday, starting June 1st – July 31 st.
JULY 23rd, all sites will be closed.
July 31st is the last day of Summer Lunch.
East Elementary 11:30-12:15:(Lunch will be served on the front lawn of the school.)
Centennial Elementary 11:30-12:15:(Lunch will be served in the Cafeteria . Enter on the west side of the building.)
Duchesne Elementary 11:30- 12:15:(Lunch will be served in the Cafeteria. Enter on the east side of the building.)
Myton Elementary 11:30-12:15:(Lunch will be served on the Front lawn of the school.)

2026 Start Smart Teacher Summit!
Event Details:

Location: Utah Capitol North Conference Center Building (In-person)
Cost: $20 on Eventbrite to save your seat
Stipend: YES!!! Teachers will receive a $50 check, mailed to them after attending!
PD Credit: YES!!! 7 relicensure points through the Utah State Board of Education!
