The CLC is a division of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County which has been serving children for over 60 years. We were the first to provide early intervention services and that was in the 1970s !

4. Two thirds of the students have physical disabilities, ranging from mild to severe; 1/3 of the students do not have physical disabilities- many have speech/language delays. The na

5. There are 2 divisions within the CLC: preschool, and school-age.

6. Our classroom are comprised of a few different ratios: 12:1:4, 12:1:2, 9:1:3, 6:1:2

7. Each year, specific learning environments are developed to meet the needs of the students enrolled in the CLC.

8. Each student participates in Music Therapy and Adapted Physical Education.

9. Families are integral to the success of the CLC – We celebrate Sibling and Grandparents Days, and offer parent support and education groups.
