Dear EES families, we know you are all looking forward to fall break. We are excited to announce our fall food drive will be kicking off after fall break. In the photo you will find a list of Items we are looking for. This year we are supporting the Friday food bags that are sent home with over 130 students county wide every week through the Community Food Bank in Franklin. The grade level with the most full totes at the end of the drive will receive a pizza party and movie at lunch. Our little school and community is always so very generous when it comes to helping those in need, and I know this will be no different. thank you for all that you do. Go Braves!

As many of you know, we have a HCHS Senior who is fighting Aplastic Anemia. We invite students and staff to wear school appropriate pajamas on Tuesday for a $1 donation. All proceeds will go to help with medical expenses. Thank you, in advance, for supporting one of our Brave Nation families.

Our Pre-K Cool Character class has been working hard and having fun during the month of September. We have been learning the letters in our names, patterns, and counting as well as how to be good friends! We’ve learned new “fancy” words such as scrumptious, smithereens, and lovely. We visited the library for the first time and we have loved going out on the new playground. We peeled our own apples and made apple sauce to celebrate Johnny Appleseed’s birthday. Dressing up for Homecoming was exciting and so was getting to slime Mrs. Tisdale for working hard on our fundraiser. Our class earned an ice cream party for being the top sellers for the fundraiser, too! We can’t believe it’s already October! ❤️
