Tonight, the Coffin Up the Cash coffin has made its way to the McPhersons’ yard on Hancock Street! ⚰️

Ever wonder how this mysterious neon green coffin travels around northern Greene County? Behind every spooky delivery are tired PTO parents loading up their equally tired children for a little nighttime fundraising.

Some deliveries happen after basketball practice or jiu jitsu lessons. Others are squeezed in after baths. Various PTO members take a night; could be you! 👀

Some deliveries even include children shouting things out of their father’s truck window at passerby on Main Street that absolutely cannot be printed on the PTO page.
Okay… that may have only happened on the Nells’ night. 😂

So if you spot our neon green coffin traveling through town, remember: these tired grim reapers mean no harm. They’re just raising money for the kids… while probably questioning why they brought their own along. 😂

💀 The North Greene PTO coffin has landed in Roodhouse again, this time at Kyle and Nicole Robison’s!

The secret to a surprise coffin delivery is to target busy people who are never home long enough to see it coming. 👀

Cue Roodhouse Chief of Police Kyle Robison, who also helps coach junior high basketball, and Nicole, busy mom and 6th grade girls’ basketball coach. Between policing, parenting, and basketball practices, these poor mortals never stood a chance! 😂🪦

Hopefully Kyle will let us off with a warning for this little grave disturbance. 🚔

It’s all part of Coffin Up the Cash to support North Greene Elementary PTO! Pay $25 to have it removed or $50 to choose its next destination.

With an NG maintenance director, a fourth grade teacher, and FOUR little kids, we figured this household could handle one more thing. 😂

Good news: this new arrival doesn’t need a snack, a bathroom break, or help finding its shoes!

Will they pay $25 to have it removed or $50 to choose whose yard gets haunted next? 👀

We are so grateful for all of the community support thus far for our Coffin up the Cash Fundraiser! We’re so humbled by the generosity of North Greene Nation in raising funds to aid in the education of our youth! 📚

All money raised goes directly to the North Greene Elementary PTO to help us continue supporting our students, teachers, and school throughout the year. ❤️

A little Sunday afternoon reminder that tomorrow night, Monday, October 5 at 6 PM, is our next North Greene Elementary PTO meeting!

Never been to a PTO meeting before? Make plans to join us! We’re a welcoming bunch who is always eager to see new faces, hear new ideas, and have more people join in supporting our school. 💙🤍

At our September meeting, we elected our officers for the 2026–27 school year, including our new president, Callie! Callie Hall is a mom of three, was also a foreign exchange parent last year, and is a huge supporter of all things North Greene. We’re so grateful she’s willing to step into this leadership role!

Tomorrow night, we’ll be finalizing plans for our upcoming Safe Trick or Treat Parade & Dance Party, as well as discussing future fundraisers and ways we can continue supporting the incredible teachers, staff, and students at North Greene Elementary.

You don’t have to hold an office. You don’t have to attend every meeting. You don’t even have to come with an idea. Just come!

The more parents, grandparents, teachers, and community members we have involved, the more we can do for our kids and our school.
Come be part of making North Greene Elementary even more amazing! 💙📚
