Heavy equipment is not the only career training happening at The LEARN Center.

We now offer commercial driver training for students working toward a New York State CDL.

For someone building a career in construction, transportation, site work, utilities, or another hands-on industry, adding driving skills can open another direction to explore.

Heavy equipment training and CDL training are separate programs, but they can both be part of building a stronger skill set.

Here is something most people do not expect from a trade school.

If a graduate has an interview coming up, The LEARN Center encourages them to call ahead and come back to the school before the interview so they can get back into the machine and sharpen their skills.

Why?

Because confidence matters when someone asks what you can do.

That refresher opportunity is offered to our graduates at no charge.

Training does not have to end the moment class does. We want our graduates walking into opportunities feeling prepared.

The LEARN Center offers hands-on training across the equipment you see on real construction sites, including skid-steers, backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders, and bulldozers.

Each machine has a different purpose. Each requires different skills. And each can become part of a much bigger career path in the trades.

Heavy equipment operation is learned in the seat.

At The LEARN Center, students train in a real construction-style environment with a 1.25-acre yard, approximately 20 pieces of heavy equipment, a heated indoor shop, and classroom facilities.

You are not just learning what the controls do. You are learning how to operate safely, understand the machine, build repetition, and develop the confidence to work in the field.
