On vacation with my family in Newport, RI this week.

I have to give a shout-out to the friendly and incredible staff at the Vanderbilt Grace Hotel. They honestly saved the day by allowing me to use their Tesla Destination Charger, the only working L2 charger in town!

Thank you to the valet Sayid for giving my Tesla the utmost care and attention, and thank you to manager Brittany for being so accommodating and helpful!

Not only did this help my family avoid a potentially stressful situation, but I consider it a lovely gift for my birthday today!

While my Model Y was getting some routine service at , I Finally got the chance to enjoy a Cybertruck demo drive!

Big thanks to Kelly and Tevin at the Smithtown Service Center for the seamless and enjoyable experience!

Wife got a chance to take a quick loop. Appreciated the legroom and roomy interior. Noted that the backseat wasn't much bigger than our current vehicle? A concern if we add another child seat.

Definitely took some getting used to. Biggest adjustments:
1. No stalks. Took a bit to get used to the steering wheel controls.
2. Turning radius OH MY GOD. 4-wheel steering and steer-by-wire is a wild experience.
3. I enjoyed the clever onscreen rearview camera while Tonneau was closed.
4. Ride height! This isn't unique to any truck, but I love sitting so high above the road!
5. Acceleration is 🔥 🔥 🔥! 4.1sec is a big difference, Coming from the 4.8s in my AWD MY.

Not sure I'd use it as a daily driver. Please , release a 3row CYBER SUV! or at least the Model Y L.

Those two are my top options for next car.

Minor issue for Tesla owners to be aware of and prepare for in cold weather.

Looks like a small layer of ice formed inside the UWC connector, preventing a proper seat in the vehicle port or adapter.

Going to need to heat and melt somehow.

Battery Energy Storage Systems are the future of Energy Grid stabilization, and I support any project of this type in my neighborhood.

The New York State Battery Energy Storage fire code was developed in collaboration with state agencies, safety experts, and the fire safety community, focusing on effective management of battery storage fires.

A recent incident in Warwick tested this safety framework. The incident was contained, with air monitoring showing no public health risks. Safety codes cannot prevent equipment failure, but they can prevent failures from escalating.
