Great First Week for Mrs. Vestal’s classes. Child Development started diving into children’s literature. Hospitality and Tourism had a guest speaker who went through potential career paths. All classes participated in “hexagon thinking”.

Foods 2 students have been learning about nutritional needs during different life stages. They created a toddler appropriate snack based on a beloved children’s book.

Foods students took review to new heights. Groups earned cups by answering questions correctly. They tried all different strategies to make the tallest human cup tower.

Foods 2 students participated in a “blind” taste test where they tried to guess between several canned soup varieties. Then they participated in a challenge to transform an ordinary can of soup into a gourmet soup with spices, aromatics, grains, acids, & greens.
