Together, we made a difference! 📣

We're proud to share that PUHSD has achieved P-2 Certification with a revised ADA of 10,061.87 and a 93.22% capture rate! 🎉

Over the last two years, our attendance climbed from 88.5% (2023–24) to 93.22% (2025–26) — a 4.72% increase that means:

✅ More students in seats, learning and thriving
✅ Stronger schools and a stronger future
✅ More funding to invest back into our students and programs

This translates into a minimum of about $5 million in additional revenue for our schools. 💙💛

To our incredible staff, students, and families, thank you. Every day you show up, you make a lasting impact.

Welcome Back, Patriot Families! - First Day Info.

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to welcome our Patriots back to campus as we begin a very special year—Heritage High School's 20th school year!

📚 What to Expect on the First Day
School begins Monday, August 10, 2026, at 9:15 a.m.

Here are a few important things to know:
There will be no Zero Period on Monday. Zero Period will begin on Tuesday, August 11.
Student class lists will be posted in the Quad on the pillars and organized alphabetically. These lists will identify each student's Period 1 teacher and classroom. Paper schedules will be distributed during Period 1.

Students will attend all seven class periods on the first day. Learning begins on Day One, so students should be prepared to meet their teachers and begin coursework right away.
Students should bring their backpack, regular school supplies, and school-issued computer if they already have one. Freshmen and students who are new to the Perris Union High School District will receive their Chromebook during the school day in their English class.

🚗 Plan Ahead🚦

As many of you know, traffic can be challenging during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal, particularly during the first few days of school. We encourage students to arrive a little earlier than usual so they have time to find their class and be ready for the 9:15 a.m. start.
Our staff will be out and about campus to help students find their classrooms and navigate the first day. If your student gets turned around or has questions, please encourage them to ask a staff member—we are here to help!

See you Monday! Go Patriots! ❤️💙

Patriot Families, please review the attached Student & Bus Route Map for updated parking, student drop-off/pick-up, bus access, e-bike parking, and staff parking locations for the upcoming school year.

With Caltrans construction occurring in the area, we anticipate heavier traffic and possible delays, especially during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Please allow extra travel time, drive cautiously, follow all posted traffic signs and staff directions, and use the designated areas shown on the map.

To help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently:

🚌 Bus Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Use the designated bus area shown on the map.
🚗 Parent Pick-Up & Drop-Off for Students: Please use the designated student drop-off/pick-up entrance and avoid stopping in bus or staff areas.
🚲 E-Bike Parking: Students riding e-bikes should park only in the designated e-bike area.
🅿️ Student & Staff Parking: Please use the assigned parking lots shown on the map.
