A huge THANK YOU to Lifted Hands Food Pantry for their very generous donation of clothing, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, Dawn dish soap, and sponges to Hampshire County Schools!

These donations were used to stock the clothing & hygiene closets across our seven schools to help students start the school year with the items they may need. The dish soap and sponges went to our Child Nutrition Program to support the hardworking cooks who serve meals daily.

We are so grateful to our Communities in Schools (CIS) Site Coordinators for unloading, sorting, and organizing everything at their schools. A special shout-out to Jessica Deardorff and Cynthia Corbin for working with Emilie Embrey, Director of Student Support Services, to bring these donations into the county, and to Caitlin Johnson, Student Success Coach, for helping coordinate the distribution.
Because of this amazing partnership, our students are heading into the school year with extra support, confidence, and care.

They passed! Congratulations to 2 of our HHS Seniors for passing their driving tests this week with the help of Mrs. Jess, their site coordinator!

Wow! Hampshire County Community Foundation's William Brady and Jean Taylor Rannels fund provided HHS with a grant to support the hygiene and wellbeing of students! We couldn't do this work without our community's support 🤩

Communities in Schools has been busy at HHS lately! From hosting Salon Bloom and Nails by Jordan to help our students get prom ready to coordinating another DMV trip by popular demand, our site coordinators are making things happen! Thank you Ms. Jess and Mr. JT for all you do!!
