The Lewis University ALPA ACE Club is a student – led organization, whose goal is to prepare aspiring aviators for the piloting profession.
The Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) in conjuncture with their Aviation Collegiate Education (ACE) program sponsors the organization. Through networking opportunities, presentations, seminars, panel discussions, and field trips, members will foster a culture of safety and professionalism that will be the foundation for a successful career in the aviation industry.

Hello ACE Club Members,
I hope you are all staying safe and well through these difficult times. Undoubtedly, you are all facing many uncertainties in your personal and academic lives. With current events in mind, I wanted to give you an update on the status of our organization.
The airline industry has always been very cyclical, but there is no doubt that it has taken, and continues to take, a devastating blow. It went from all-time highs to historic lows in a matter of weeks with this pandemic. The recovery will be difficult and long-lasting. With the numerous uncertainties in the industry and your safety on campus, the Education Committee is still trying to determine how best to navigate the current situation. Many of us in the industry are facing uncertain futures in the near term, and may not be actively employed by the airlines. As such, we do not plan on having an active presence on campus until things begin returning to normal. We hope to pick up where we left when we are able to return. We are still available for any questions, so feel free to reach out to us. Stay safe and healthy, and we will see you all soon.
