Drop by Isle a la Cache to tour the museum as well as our 18th-century Traders Cabin and Native American longhouse to get a glimpse at what life was like in Will County in the 1700s. Visitors can also seeing what's buzzing and blooming in our pollinator garden.

Fishing line seems innocuous, a simple tool used by anglers to hook and reel in their catch. But when not disposed of properly, this simple tool can have a devastating effect on wildlife living in and around popular fishing spots. The Forest Preserve provides receptacles to dispose of fishing line at all of its main fishing sites. To properly dispose of the line, cut it into pieces less than 6 inches long and place it, along with any hooks and tackle, in the provided containers or another covered trash container.
