The Political Science department will be hosting a watch party for the 2024 Presidential Debate! Join us on Tuesday, September 10th.

Before the debate begins at 8PM, members of the Political Science department will briefly explain the peculiar electoral system of the United States--rooted in it's constitution--and why the election will most likely be decided by seven critical "swing" states where the race is particularly tight.

Attorney Conti will be joining us to talk about her experience as a lawyer, her stance on the death penalty, and the role of women in law.

Copies of her book, Killing Time with John Wayne Gacy: Defending America's Most Evil Serial Killer on Death Row, will be available for purchase after the talk.
