A quick note to all Rome City Schools parents. Students’ end-of-year report cards will only be distributed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. No paper copies will be sent home.

If you have not created a parent portal account yet, please make sure you do so as soon as possible. Once the account is created, parents will need to complete their student’s registration for next school year to be able to access the report card. Information on creating the graphic is attached to this post.

Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Woodard’s 3rd grade classes are ending the school year with an exciting Survivor-style challenge! 🌴🐚

Students are putting their math skills to the test by combining everything they’ve learned this year with STEM challenges for the ultimate island adventure. During the first challenge, students solved math problems to earn supplies to build shelters for their tribes. On Day 2, their shelters faced a teacher-made “tropical storm” to see which structures could survive the wind and rain! 🌪️🌧️

Along the way, students are learning the importance of teamwork, strategy, and problem-solving while participating in “Tribal Councils,” where they vote for the tribes that displayed the best teamwork and collaboration.

What a fun and engaging way to end the year! Stay tuned to see how our survivors finish their island adventure! ☀️🏝️

🤝⭐️The Amazing Shake- Round 3! Our top 4 students in 5th and 6th grade competed against one another for the final round this week, and it was a close one! All 4 girls had a “business lunch” at the Rome Rotary Club meeting where they had to converse with Rotary Club members and show off their skills they have learned throughout this program. Our girls made EC proud!

🏆Our winner for the 2026 Amazing Shake is… NAOMI BASU! Congratulations to Naomi! We are so proud of all of your hard work!
