Familiar faces, exciting new roles! π
We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Dunagan will be taking on new positions within our school next year. Both have been part of our 1st grade team and will be bringing their talents, experience, and dedication to new roles that will extend their impact across APS.
Mrs. Clark will serve as our Math Interventionist for the upcoming school year! With 16 years of experience in education, she has built strong relationships with students and families while helping young learners develop confidence and success in the classroom. We are so excited to see her step into this role and continue supporting student growth across our school.
Mrs. Dunagan will serve as our Literacy Coach for the upcoming school year! With 24 years of experience in education, she has inspired a love of reading and learning in countless students. In her new role, she will support and coach teachers, helping to strengthen literacy instruction and student achievement across our school. We are so excited to see her step into this role and share her expertise and passion for literacy with our staff.

Today, we celebrated the retirements of Mrs. Penny Smith, Mrs. Autumn Nash, and Mrs. Teresa Brown. These amazing ladies have each made a lasting difference at APS through their dedication, kindness, and years of service to our students and staff. APS will not be the same without them, but we are so thankful for the memories and impact they leave behind. Wishing them lots of relaxing beach days and happiness in retirement! βοΈππ
