Fairview - E.S. Brown's
12th annual barbecue will take
place between 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, May 28th at the Rome Civic
Center and 11 to 4 p.m. at the
Welcome Center in Cave
Spring. The event, catered again
this year by the award-winning
Johnny Mitchell’s Smokehouse in
Cartersville, Georgia, will be a
drive-by event. All proceeds will
benefit operational expenses at the historic Fairview School in Cave Spring. Tickets
may be purchased beginning May 1 at: In Rome at Last Stop Gift Shop or Rome
History Museum; and in Cave Spring at Bellhouse Gifts/Antiques and Cave Spring

Fairview continues to move forward in new ways. Between April 30 and May 30, we will be conducting a Crowdfunding Campaign to fill the financial gap created by increased cost for materials and other changes with suppliers and service providers with respect to completing essential capital projects on the campus. Our goal is to raise $27,000 in this 30-day period. We want to ‘Open the school doors’ this summer for you to make a visit and enjoy the City of Cave Spring and Fairview. Among the planned presentations is an update of the Fairview Campus Preservation Plan by Joseph Smith, AIA, the lead architect of the Fairview Restoration Project.
