A scam text is circulating that claims to be from "Georgia Northwestern Technical college Office of Student Accounts." The message says your account is scheduled for deactivation and asks you to reply with "Continue" or "Stop."

This is NOT from GNTC. Do not reply.

GNTC will never ask you to verify your account or prevent deactivation by texting back a keyword. If you received this message, ignore it and delete it.

Information regarding Blackboard is below

We are aware that some students are experiencing difficulty logging into Blackboard due to an Okta access outage. The issue is currently being addressed. At this time, we do not have an estimated time for full resolution.

Please continue attempting to log in throughout the day. Once you are successfully logged in, you should remain connected.

We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as they become available.

All campuses of Georgia Northwestern Technical College will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2. Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. and normal operations will take place for the remainder of the day.

As always, please use your best judgment about traveling. If conditions in your area prevent safe travel to GNTC, contact your instructor for additional instructions.

All campuses of Georgia Northwestern Technical College will be closed on Monday, January 26. All classes, activities, and events are canceled.

GNTC Severe Weather Notification Policy and Procedures

In the event of severe weather, GNTC may need to close or delay opening of the college. In the event of a closing or delay, GNTC will communicate to students, faculty, and staff using the methods listed in the policy.
