This is wonderful, thank you to the Rome Free Academy Basketball team for this amazing initiative!

Last week, RFA Senior Captain Surafia Norries (second from right) and Junior Captain Luke Hammon (right) stopped by Rome Health to deliver a huge bag of brand-new stuffed animals. These will be used by our staff to help comfort children who are visiting the Emergency Department or undergoing medical procedures.

Earlier this month, the entire Rome Free Academy Basketball team held a special “Basketball Night” during halftime of one of their games, collecting new stuffed animals and blankets for sick children in our local hospitals.

Rome Health is incredibly grateful to Surafia, Luke, and all the members of the RFA Basketball team for their thoughtfulness and generosity. You’ve made a real difference for the kids in our community!

Thank you, RFA Basketball! 🏀💙
