Scotty Rich’s Young Farmer students are grading dirt and surveying land, to help out with a beautification project on campus!! 👩🏽‍🌾 🚜

Ms. Alex Fusile's Agriculture students have had a great time getting stuck into several hands-on learning activities this week - horticulture skills in the greenhouses, animal husbandry with their goats, and the operation of farm tractors to clear dirt! 🚜 👩‍🌾 🐐 🌿

While visiting Suzuki this week, Engineering teacher Mr. Van Der Horn got to see his former Class of 2021 student, Bryce Abshire (Armuchee High School), who works in the plastic injection molding department!! 🤖 💪 ⚙️

Robotics & Engineering students had a great time touring Suzuki Manufacturing of America Corporation! The Rome plant is the only one in the world where they manufacture the KingQuad ATV! They ship it to over 100 countries worldwide! Students got to see them manufacture and assemble these ATVs from the ground up, got to see a test engineer accelerate a completed ATV on a dynamometer, and got to see a Mechanical Engineer demonstrate the same CAD tools they learn in class and participate in a discussion involved with improving the failure points on a part! ⚙️ 🤖 🔧

Get your hands on one of these sweet fire pits the Welding department is selling for $90 each!! They can be customized with text and images!
