Robotics & Engineering teacher Kevin Van Der Horn graduated this week from LEAD CTAE - the state’s premiere leadership program for CTAE educators! Kevin got to learn and grow along 19 other exceptional CTAE professionals from across the state!

Robotics & Engineering teacher, Kevin Van Der Horn, had a great time learning, growing, and stretching, during the last session of the year for the 2025-2026 LEAD CTAE class!! They learned a lot about being leaders in the world of CTAE education! This amazing program is a joint effort between the Georgia Department of Education, the Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education, and the CTAE Resource Network!

In our Work-Based Learning series, we would like to highlight Construction student, Jose Tzarax-Ordonez, who not only interned with CW Matthews this semester, but also recently participated in a signing ceremony where he is committing to work fulltime for them after high school graduation!! Way to go Jose, for your hard work and for embarking on a bright career path!! 👏 🦺 🚧
