Georgia Region One Spelling Bee

We are days away from the 2026 Region One Spelling Bee! This year's Bee will be held at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, in the library, on Saturday. Park at the tennis courts (bear right at the main entrance) and it's a short walk from there.
Remember, all spellers must arrive by 9:30 to register and draw for their spelling order.

Congratulations to Grayson Thomas, winner, and Andrew Dilbeck, runner-up! Our competitors did a fantastic job today. See y'all next year, and we'll cheer on Grayson and Andrew as they represent Region One in the Georgia State Spelling Bee on March 21!

In less than 16 hours, we will have a new Region Spelling Bee champ!
Please make sure your spellers know how proud you are of them, whether or not they bring home the trophy. The hardest part of competitions is seeing the other 22 contestants brokenhearted.
We are so unbelievably proud of all of the work our Region One spellers have done to get to this point. They've spent hours studying and reading. And thanks to the support of their family and their teachers, they are all already winners.
