Staff appreciation luncheon for Northwest Georgia Research and Education Center, Georgia Mountain Research and Education Center, and Statewide Variety Testing. Dean Place, Dr. Harsha Thipareddi, and Eric Elsner thanked the team members for their dedication and presented years of service awards. Shawn McCary recieved his 25 year service award, and Eddie Smith was presented his 35 year of service award. Special thanks to Murray County Extension CEC, Brenda Jackson, for securing and preparing the venue for the event!

Christmas lunch with the best crew!

Big thanks to all the Calhoun Bull Evaluation buyers and consignors. 68 bulls across 5 breeds averaged just over $5,300. Appreciate the NWGA Research and Education center for all the heavy lifting over the last 5 months. Today we had the opportunity to recognize Shawn McCary and Tyler Bagwell for their awesome work for the UGA/GCA programs over the last 25 and 17 years, respectively.
