Had a great Moving party last Saturday at Joyful Music & Arts, thanks to all the friends, family, former students and even visitors from outer state coming to spend a musical moment with us.
Yes, we are trekking cross country at the end of the week to study at Eastern mennonite University for 2 years. Joyful Music & Arts remains open and continues to bring joyful music instruction to the community.

Now the news for our international family. Mukarabe and Makinto will be studying at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg,VA starting August 20th 2024. Mukarabe is studying for a Masters in Conflict Transformation, while I am going for a Masters in Christian Leadership ( similar to a Masters in Divinity). Joël and I will start driving the moving truck to Virginia on August 2nd.

We had a great time at the 16th JOMA Student Concert today! Over 40 student performers, Piano performers playing Classic and Pop, 18 Bands playing Rock, Jazz, Worship, Hard Rock, Pop, African Drumming....3 hours of total musical bliss. Bravo all performers, you were awesome! Thanks to all teachers, parents and students for making this another unforgettable event! Go Joyful Music & Arts!!
