Rolling Hills Montessori Montessori is based on the premise that education should be an aid to life. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that "no human being is educated by another person."

Dr. Montessori felt that the goal of early childhood education was to cultivate the child's own Rolling Hills Montessori offers a traditional Montessori education to children between the ages of 18 months to 7 years of age. Rolling Hills Montessori school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin in its administration of its educational and admission p

olicies. Applications are accepted throughout the school year, and a recommendation for placement is made after parents observe the classrooms, and interview with the Director. At Rolling Hills Montessori we intend to honor and respect the true Montessori philosophy. We will offer the most natural life-supporting environment for each child. It is our goal for each child to learn to care deeply about other people and the world, and work to discover a unique and individual way to contribute.

🦎🐢 A Wild Adventure at Rolling Hills Montessori! 🐍🦜

Last Friday, our students enjoyed an exciting visit from Mobile Zoo of SoCal ! 🌿✨ The children had the opportunity to meet and learn about incredible animals, including a tortoise, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, a tarantula, a snake, two birds, a ferret, and a few other amazing creatures.

From asking questions to observing each animal up close, our students explored the natural world through a fun, hands-on experience that sparked curiosity, wonder, and respect for all living things. Experiences like these help make learning meaningful and memorable! 🤍

A big thank you to Mobile Zoo of SoCal for bringing such an incredible educational experience to our school. We loved every minute of it! 💚

🦁🌿 Exploring the Savanna! 🌿🦒

Our toddlers have been learning all about the savanna biome through hands-on art and creative exploration! 🎨✨ As they created their projects, they talked about the amazing animals that call the savanna home while strengthening their fine motor skills and expressing their creativity.

Learning through art helps bring new concepts to life and makes every discovery even more meaningful. We love watching our little learners explore the world one project at a time! 🤍

🐐🐷 A Special Summer School Surprise! 🐰🦆

Last Friday, our students had an unforgettable visit from 🌿✨ The children had the opportunity to meet and learn about a variety of animals, including a mini pig, a goat, a duck, bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs, and a tortoise.

From gentle touches to curious questions, it was wonderful to watch the children connect with the animals and explore the natural world through hands-on experiences. These meaningful moments help foster empathy, respect, and a love for all living things. 🤍

Thank you to our furry and feathered visitors for making the day so special!
