👩‍💻Happy Ada Lovelace Day! 👩‍💻

She imagined what computers could become.
Ada Lovelace imagined that computers could do more than calculate; they could create, process ideas, and help bring new possibilities to life.

Today, we're celebrating her vision and the young innovators continuing to explore what's possible with technology.

𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 - 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗚

Nicholas is our first ever Black Belt and the fourth one in all of Code Ninjas! He started with Code Ninjas at age 10 and stayed with us until his senior year of high school at Palos Verdes High School.

During his time at Code Ninjas, Nicholas created a Unity project, named Memorize It!, that was then converted into an Android app. He went through the entire process and succeeded in getting it published on the Google Play Store. He also used Memorize It! to apply for the Congressional App Challenge.

Nicholas gave back to Code Ninjas by interning with us during camp season (winter and summer) and also during regular school hours. He was accepted into UC Berkeley and started his freshman year this past August.

💻 For the Kids Who Love to Figure Out How Things Work 💻

National Techies Day is a great time to celebrate the curious kids who are always asking “How does that work?”

At Code Ninjas, that curiosity becomes hands-on learning through coding, technology, problem-solving, and building.

Everyone keeps asking if AI is going to replace coders.

The answer is no -- but here’s the thing: kids who learn to code with AI will replace the ones who don’t. 🤔

AI can write a snippet of code. It can’t decide if that code is right. It can’t debug with context. It can’t think creatively about the problem.

Human coders still do all of that. They just do it faster now -- because AI helps.

At Code Ninjas AI Academy, kids learn to use AI as a tool, not a crutch. They stay in charge. They build real things. And they walk away with skills that actually matter for the future.

Coding isn’t going anywhere. The kids who learn it now will be the ones building what comes next.
