💧 Registration is now OPEN for the 2026–2027 Mississippi Master Irrigator Program!

The program combines online learning with a two-day, in-person training focused on practical irrigation management strategies and technologies that can help improve water-use efficiency on the farm.

Participants can begin the online portion as soon as they register. The modules are self-paced, allowing you to start, stop, and pick back up whenever it fits your schedule.

📚 Online Modules Due: January 31, 2027
📅 In-Person Training: February 24–25, 2027
📍 Delta Research and Extension Center

The program takes a broad look at irrigation water management, covering areas such as irrigation scheduling, soil moisture monitoring, pumping efficiency, system design and operation, emerging technologies, and current research, all with the goal of helping producers make more informed and efficient irrigation decisions.

Over the past three program cycles, 143 participants have completed the Mississippi Master Irrigator Program, and we look forward to welcoming our next group this year!
