My apologies for the delay, but this summer's schedule had some twists and turns. I'm happy to announce the 2026 Rolla Town Band Summer schedule.
This year we have TWO special concerts besides our regular "Castleman Green" Concerts.
On Saturday July 4th we'll be presenting a special "America 250" concert at the Rolla High School Performing Arts Center in collaboration with the Rolla Choral Arts Society.
July 16th we plan to offer our 2nd Annual "Concert and a Movie" at Leach Theatre. More details on that to come.
I'm trying to organize a little better this year, so if you are planning on playing with the RTB this summer, please fill out this information form https://forms.office.com/r/Xat8687cRv

Here's another post from one of our study abroad students, this one from Abigail Schisler, who is double-majoring in History and English: "Here’s me with a marble horse from around 300 BCE! This is one of many, many items we saw at the British Museum. Other highlights were the Rosetta Stone, the Sutton Hoo Treasures, and Oliver Cromwell’s death mask (as well as his bust to compare it to). They also had a very neat collection of first-century Roman and Italian statues, both of Roman emperors as well as lesser known citizens. I had a wonderful time visiting the British Museum and all of London through this history study abroad class!"

Campers had a great time at the Superconductor Quantum World Summer Camp 2026, led by Dr. Hyunsoo Kim, assistant professor of physics. Twenty high school students from six different states learned about superconductivity, quantum physics, and engineering by going through the process of quantum device fabrication. They explored chip design, photolithography, and thin-film deposition of superconducting materials. Thanks to Eli Smith, Hayden Liter, and Ben Stalets, Jack Troll, Parker Joplin and Anjana Rajapaksha for helping to make this camp a success.
