More student study abroad reflections. This time from history major Elle Webers:
"This is me with one of the ravens of the Tower of London. The Tower was one of my favorite sites that we visited during the Medieval and Renaissance England class. The tour lead by the Beefeater about the history of the Tower and some of the events that happened there was both entertaining and educational, and the armory in the White Tower was full of unique weapons, armor, and diplomatic gifts. Obviously I was very excited to see the ravens. They were not so impressed by me.”

Here's what history major Caden had to say about his summer study abroad experience in Berlin: "This trip was something I couldn't expect, and now can't explain. You simply had to be there. The places to be seen, the food to be eaten was all fantastic and interesting.
But this trip would not have been what it was without the people. Between the fantastic guidance and engagement from our proverbial program 'dad' to the ins and outs of Revenge of the Sith, this program was made special by the people who were there, the people who I will remember for the rest of my life. The people who turned this trip from academically interesting to life-changing. I cannot thank them enough, and I hope to see all of them again." S&T Study Abroad

The students have finished up their study abroad program, but we're just getting started with their social media updates!
First up is Timothy Williams, a Missouri S&T Biology major. He says,
"At the Globe Theatre, we saw 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.’ It was a delight to see! I haven't been to a live performance of a play in quite some time and breaking the drought here was certainly the best way I could do it. In hindsight, I wish I had performed in the auditions at the beginning of the production. But by the time I had worked out my stage fright the actual play was about to begin.”
Stay tuned for more student posts!
