The Alpha Iota Chapter at Missouri S&T is proud to give back to our campus and local community. Through our annual ACE (altruistic campus experience) Week, we put on a week of philanthropic activities that give back to the students, faculty, and town. Our brothers passed out free donuts, made breakfast for faculty, hosted a barbecue for our local first responders, and more!

Happy Founders’ Day! Today, April 29, 2026, marks the 93rd anniversary of the official chartering of the Alpha-Iota Chapter of Sigma Pi at Missouri S&T. Our journey in Rolla began even earlier in 1913 with the Prospectors Club, founded by students seeking a unique fellowship outside the existing fraternity system.

Since our transition to Sigma Pi in 1933, we have fostered a powerful network of alumni and undergraduate members dedicated to character and scholarship. While we are proud of our magnificent 18,000-square-foot facility at 206 East 12th Street, the true heart of Alpha-Iota is the lifelong Bonds of Brotherhood that connect generations of Sigma Pi men. We celebrate the alumni whose dedication has shaped our chapter into the gold standard it is today.

Sigma Pi had our Father’s Day this Saturday! Thank you to all the dads who came down and made this weekend a great time with their sons!

Our Brothers came together for our semesterly Scholarship Dinner! Here we acknowledged the academic achievements of our brothers and the scholarships they received from our Alpha Iota Educational Foundation (AIEF). A special shoutout to our new member class for having an over 3.25 average GPA! Over 30,000 dollars in total was given out to our members for their success.

A big thanks to Jeff Ostermann for coming out and being a speaker at the dinner, as well as Larry Cook and Tim Kamp from AIEF.

Come out this Wednesday for the Ace Week Volleyball tournament!

April 20th kicks off Sigma Pi’s annual ACE week! ACE week is our Altruistic Campus Experience service project devoted to benefitting the faculty, administration, and individuals on campus.
