Rolla High School Class of 1997

I wanted to highlight one of our fellow 1997 classmates, Dr. Keith Petersen. My daughter is a senior and graduating from Rolla High School this year. Last night she was attending her final National Honor Society Banquet and the kids were asked to name their most influential teacher. I’m sure if Zoey would have taken any of his classes she would have nominated him, but a health science career isn’t in her future. However, for the other kids in this photo, they all nominated Keith as their most influential teacher. What an exciting and memorable career accolade! Congratulations, Keith!

Those of us who pursued science or medical fields were probably influenced by Mr. Harmes at some point in High School. We are wishing his family peace during this time of loss.
