Come to our barn dance! Young Riders 4-H does a great job putting this on!

Bourbeuse Valley 4-H Club worked hard to provide the Phelps County Fairgrounds with a new hog scale! The club was awarded the FCS Shaping Rural Missouri Grant for $500! This got them motivated to raise the rest of the funds. They did a “Fill my Clover” fundraiser and had a cookout at Perkins Lumber in St. James. Their pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, and desserts put them over what they needed to purchase the scale! Arriving right in time, the day of the hog weigh-in at the livestock show, they managed to build it and put it to use weighing in close to 50 pigs. Everyone including all barn superintendents were very appreciative and very excited for this new scale that can be used for years to come.

1. Create a profile for each exhibitor
2. Add entries for each exhibitor - even showmanship
3. Continue through to payment submission even if you have no balance due (I.e. market classes)…if you do not get a confirmation email, you did not register
