A little Friday morning studying as I continue my professional development through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and its Special Education Advocate Training (SEAT) program!

Today’s reading focuses on the legal foundations of special education, including the laws and court decisions that protect the rights of students with disabilities.

As both a parent and a professional advocate, I know how overwhelming the special education process can feel for families. I also know how powerful it is when parents understand their rights and have someone knowledgeable in their corner.

My goal has always been to help families navigate special education with greater confidence, clarity, and support.

The more I learn, the better I can serve the families who trust me to advocate alongside them. ❤️

Did you know your HSA or FSA funds may help cover some of the services your child receives? 💙🌿

Many of our therapeutic and specialized services may qualify for HSA/FSA reimbursement. We’re also happy to provide detailed receipts and documentation for families who need to submit expenses for reimbursement.
