This is Scott btw.. I just talked to Steve about a few options August-October. Steve is gonna work them up and then we’ll vote everything out and set this in stone. I think the date is the biggest hurdle so please keep an eye out and respond asap so we can make this our best reunion to date. Thanks in advance and looking forward to great time!!

25 YEARS??? 😂😂😂 pretty cool seeing the page lighting up. Let’s get this reunion started. I like Big Cork again and everyone can just bring like apps to pick at or I can contact the Boonsboro legion about the ballroom. Shouldn’t be very much money to get a bartender with the room and we can decide on food options. They have a full sound system I can connect to and bring out “DJ Scott” one last time. 😂😂 throw out your ideas and some dates. Let’s get a big turnout!

Scott is doing well! Getting moved out of ICU sometime this afternoon. The doctors seem very pleased! Thank you all for your prayers and support! God is good! 💙

Hi Class of ‘99!

I wish I was posting with better news, but felt inclined to ask for prayers and positive thoughts for our classmates, Scott & Stephanie Strite Obitts. Steph posted this earlier this evening:

For those who don’t know everything that’s been going on over the past few months, Scott was diagnosed in March with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. For the most part, he handled his chemo treatments very well and has had great results from the chemo! Now it’s finally time for surgery! He will be having surgery first thing tomorrow morning at Johns Hopkins. We know there will be a lot of people anxiously waiting for updates, so we figured this would be the easiest way to keep the majority of you updated. He’s expecting to be in the hospital for 5 to 7 days. I will try to post updates whenever there is something new to share. Meanwhile, if you could keep him and our family in your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated. The amount of love and support that we’ve already received over the past few months from our friends and family has been unimaginable and so greatly appreciated! As I’m sure Scott would tell you, don’t worry about him, he’s got this! 💙
