This is to notify everyone that we will be adding a p.m. class starting September 25. Three days of the class will be on zoom for lecture and the other days will be for clinical and skills practice in classroom/clinical site. The class will be six weeks long! Congratulations to the 30 students that took the state exam. 28 passed written and 29 passed skills.

The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor will instruct students according to curriculum that has been approved by the California Department of Public Health to assist students in building knowledge and clinical skills, with the intention of helping students pass the state licensing exam for a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Specific responsibilities
1. Teach the course materials as outlined. Course materials provided
2. Build knowledge and develop clinical skills
3. Maintain accurate records on all students, including but not limited to attendance, Schedules and course requirements Regarding hours of instruction and content.
4. Evaluate and document students progress on written and skills attained. Evaluation attain through written and mock testing
5. Communicate effectively with students, And all those affiliated with the program, Including staff at clinical sites.
6. Provide a stimulating environment that includes student participation, Interpersonal skills development and concepts of good patient care.

Required qualifications
LVN license
Two years nursing experience
Ability to perform physical work with patients and students at clinical site
