Evans Valley Education and Community Center The Evans Valley Community Center is proud to be the heart of the Wimer and Evans Valley area. Come see what we have to offer!

We are supported and funded by a strong, productive and dynamic community. In March of 2011 the RR school district voted 3 - 2 to close Evans Valley Elementary School. The community rallied and fought to avoid the closure, but to no avail. Wimer and Evans Valley residents were heartbroken that they had lost what they considered the "hub" of the community and an important part of local history. Fin

ally, in November of 2012 the RR school board voted unanimously to give the property to the Evans Valley Community Association.
