October is National Principals Month!

This month, Rogue River School District 35 is proud to celebrate the outstanding school leaders who serve our students, staff, families, and community each day.

We recently had the opportunity to honor our principals and vice principals with a special lunch and flowers as a small expression of our appreciation for the leadership, dedication, and heart they bring to their schools.

School leadership is about so much more than managing a building. Our principals encourage students, support staff, celebrate successes, navigate challenges, build relationships with families, and help create school communities where students can learn and thrive.

To our RRSD35 principals and vice principals: thank you for your leadership, your dedication, and your unwavering commitment to our students and schools. We appreciate all that you do!

Did you know that SVA students have access to medical care and mental health services right here in Rogue River through La Clinica’s Rogue River Health Center?

Students can access check-ups, sports physicals, immunizations, treatment for illness or injury, mental health counseling, lab services, vision and hearing screenings, and more. Even better, services are available to all children age 2+, including SVA students, regardless of income or insurance coverage.

Having quality health care available so close to our school is an amazing resource for our students and families, and we want to make sure you know it’s here and take advantage of it when you need it!

Check out the flyers below for services, provider schedules, and contact information. Healthy kids are ready to learn, and we love having La Clinica as a partner in supporting our SVA students and families!

128 VOLUNTEERS - NOW THAT’S COMMUNITY!

Here’s something pretty special: Rogue River School District serves more than 810 students, and we are fortunate to have 128 amazing volunteers giving their time and talents to our schools.

That’s nearly ONE VOLUNTEER FOR EVERY SIX STUDENTS!

For a district our size, that number represents something much bigger than a statistic. It represents a community that shows up for its kids.

Our volunteers lend a helping hand, support activities and programs, assist our staff, and give their time in countless ways that make our schools stronger.

To each of our 128 volunteers: THANK YOU!

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving your time. And most importantly, thank you for investing in the students of Rogue River School District. You make a difference!

Want to be part of it?

We’d love to welcome even more members of our community to the RRSD volunteer team! Contact Pam at [email protected] to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

810+ students. 128 volunteers. Nearly 1 volunteer for every 6 students. One incredible community. WE’RE SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
