Pack Meeting Recap: Bobcat Basecamp!

We had a great time kicking off the Scouting year last night. We hope the Scouts enjoyed Bobcat Basecamp as much as Cubmasters Dan and Jeremy did!

We packed a lot into one meeting:

- Asked, “How ya doing?” (Looking at you, Kiwanis Scout Camp!)
- Played bingo with memories from our summer adventures
- Practiced flag ceremonies with help from our Committee Chair, incoming Treasurer, and AOL and Bear Den Leaders
- Ran a relay to review the Scout sign, motto, Law, and Oath
- Talked about the three parts of the Scout Oath and what “duty” means
- Came up with den cheers and made a few ANNOUNCEMENTS!

There was even more along the way. Scouts across the Pack are well on their way to earning their Bobcat Adventure.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our first pack meeting such a fun start to the year!

Thinking about an activity for your kids? We'd love for you to come join us for a meeting, check us out and see if Cub Scouts fits you and your family. We offer adventure, friendship and hands-on learning for boys and girls in grades K–5.

Come to a meeting at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, look for someone in a tan shirt (don't worry, you don't have to wear one) and we'll be happy to get your kiddo connected with other kids and give you time to ask us questions.

At the end of the night, at minimum, we hope your kiddo had fun, learned something. Give us a try...you might even get a s'more! 🏕
