Today some of our students helped Shadow Valley Country Club by assisting with the Dryjecting process on their greens. This practice benefits soil structure, drainage, and nutrient availability. A great way to learn and understand the purpose behind cultural practices on golf courses. Thank you to Ethan Charles and the rest of the crew for having us out!

had the opportunity to volunteer as a greenskeeper for the 38th U.S. Woman’s Mid-Am Tournament at one of his former courses, Monterey Pennisula Country Club. Some of his responsibilities included mowing fairways, tees, collars, and cleanups on greens, as well as buffalo blowing, moisture monitoring, and hand watering. What a neat experience!

Big shoutout to Turf Club student , who helped prep the course for the prestigious Jackson T. Stephens Cup at Shoreacres Country Club! After interning there this summer, Seth returned to mow greens and assist with tournament setup. Experiences like this is what Turf Club is all about.
